HOTEL HOUSING SCAM ALERT

It has been brought to our attention that many of you are receiving calls from hotel room poachers. The company may be known as Business Travel Bureau. They are persistent and they are scamming individuals into booking rooms.

I would like to reiterate our previous communications to you. The only NASGW authorized housing parter is Orchid Events. We have provided you with direct links to our housing site in all our registration communications. This is the ONLY way to book rooms safely & legitimately within the NASGW contracted hotels, at our contracted rate.

Orchid Events or NASGW Staff will NEVER call you to solicit rooms. Our instructions for reserving rooms are included in both Exhibitor and Attendee registration emails, as well as on our nasgwexpo.org website. We have not, nor have we ever shared contact lists with any outside solicitor, so this is extremely frustrating for all of us.

Please disregard any calls you may receive, simply hanging up or blocking the numbers.

We sincerely apologize for this nuisance, but please know we are working to get to the bottom of this issue.
